TextTolerance and Coexistence

The Tolerance and Coexistence Standard (UAE.S 5037:2021) is the first Emirati standard of its kind worldwide. It was prepared in joint cooperation between the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence and the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology. It aims to implement tolerance and coexistence in institutions of all kinds, whether they are in the governmental, private or semi-governmental sectors, considering Enhancing the concept and culture of tolerance and coexistence among individuals in the work environment will automatically be reflected in the transactions of institutions and at the level of the family and the surrounding community

Objectives

  • The system works to promote the concept of tolerance and coexistence among the employees of the institution, which will contribute to raising the efficiency of their performance and which will be reflected in the overall performance of the institution, in addition to promoting the processes of tolerance and coexistence with external customers
  • Support achieving and spreading a culture of internal tolerance in the institution, and supporting the achievement of institutional goals and strategies .
  • A work environment based on the principles and values of tolerance and coexistence
  • The ability to achieve the requirements of the standard
  • The Standard (UAE.S 5037:2021) aims to establish a management system for tolerance and coexistence suitable for application in public and private institutions, regardless of the size and type of activities of these institutions.
